Elections 2010: Mid-term election results: updates, upsets and the upshot

The folk of the nation have spoken---inarticulately, illiterately, incoherently far from lucid but they have spoken.

Just another example of why it was the founders didn’t stand-up and in fact feared the notion of “democracy.”

When elections are popularity contests (American Idol, Dancing with the Stars) we the people as a state and nation are locked inexorably in one long unmendable misfortune.
