Public Policy: the Tea Party disinformation campaign machine on mid-term’s “final approach”

Alexander Hamilton famously referred to the folk as “the Beast.” When I was a very young man I cringed at the very idea. Many years later I feel Hamilton’s pain.

Given the death-grip (think ticks) the oligarchs-capitalists have on “the Beast” any (even random) thought of overthrowing a non-responsive government even if it is a duty as Thomas Jefferson stated is unlikely and given the concept that “we the people” are “the government”----Elections 2010 and the public policy that will come from it is all we have. Deal with it. http://www.examiner.com/bexar-county-elections-2010-in-san-antonio/elections-2010-public-policy-short-of-revolution-it-s-all-we-ve-got

Ayn Rand, Ann Coulter, Glen Beck and the rest, notwithstanding, without the Beast even the most entrepreneurial capitalist would fall on their face. Until such time as we live in an automaton nation (we’re almost there) people-labor is still a necessity.

All the people, i. e. the Beast, are saying is we deserve our share. All the oligarchic-capitalists are saying, is hey you live in America, you have the American Dream (delusional though that is), chump-change for income (if you have a job) maybe healthcare---you (the Beast) it’s always all about you! You think you are entitled to more just because you helped make us rich by your labor, purchases and taxes you pay? Just because only you serve in the military that keeps oglarich-capitalist factories, businesses and money safe---you think you deserve more? Hah!

Yesterday Fareed Zakaria appeared on the Charlie Rose (PBS). Zakaria insightfully explored with the host our republic’s possible future directions. It is an excellent interview/discussion. Our future is as inexorable as the next day’s dawning. Tea Partiers just don’t get it. That’s to be expected.

The chickens (a lack of: world-class education, affordable quality public healthcare and income parity in the U.S.) have come home to roost.

Things as they have been are changing---right-wingers, fringers and Tea Partiers notwithstanding new directions loom large.

From Texas Red: a cratered landscape of prisons, deplorable apartheid public education, lack of healthcare and politicians and majority population intent on keeping it that way…

Hasta Siempre,
